About:Rani "The Queen of Bollywood"

Today Rani is definitely Rani of Bollywood, hard work and persistence along with good roles (pundits read that as “scripts”) has bought her new worthy fame. The void after Kajol left has been definitely filled up by Rani, she has what it takes to appeal to both the mass as well as the class be it Michelle McNally in Black or Vimi a.k.a Babli in Bunty aur Babli. She is definitely on top and will continue to call the shots for next coming year or so.
The days starting with Yuva (2004) she has managed to climb up the ladder. The Filmfare awards for best supporting actress and best actress in a lead role in the same year. That will take some doing. I am ignorant about, when was that achieved before Rani did it? Her selection of directors from the experienced ones, (Mani Ratnam and Yash Chopra) to the new ones (Kunal Kohli).
She is definitely repeating her success she got after her initial burst of films and then a slump (a standard practice for Bollywood). She happens to work with the most marketable actors, the Khans. She has done many a films with them and will continue to do so. As the Khans happen to churn out hit movies she will definitely get a piece of the pie. I wonder if the Khans and Rani share a common factor-height. Good things come in small packages though. But no credit can be taken away for the quality of performance. The struggling actress may note that no item dance number has also been undertaken of late.
She is been doing things of late which very few have done of late; carrying the films one her shoulder Hum Tum and Black stand out. The interesting thing to note is her last five films are Paheli, Bunty aur Babli, Black, Veer-Zara, Hum Tum and Yuva. This has sent the cash registers ringing and bought new hope to Hindi film industry which is facing losses for last two years. The next awaited movies are Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (Dharma Productions) and The Rising (opposite Amir). The lady luck is definitely smiling on Rani and she is smiling back.
The audiences are certainly going to the theatres to watch Rani to see her quality performance.
Rani, at present is a complete actress she has done all kind of “different” roles and portrayed them well. So wishing Rani some more success and some more awards.
