Blog: Just another update
Just another Friday, just another song, just another blog, just another blogger. Or is it?
I woke up early, have been doing so all this week,it has been a good last couple of days for me,looking forward to sitting at an all familiar last bench, while understanding few more nuances of management;steal moments to smile and spread a few chuckles if not roar of laughter.
Good Day to all, and Good day to me.
Banter shall always continue.

About: रात की बात|
The following are some of the songs which one would love to listen on radio all night, day and night. The list is a random list of personal favourites ranging through the times across the singers whose voice makes the stars glow brighter as night reigns in the dreams of tomorrows and let the times just float by.
1. रात के हमसफ़र: An old time Asha Rafi track picturised on a charming Shammi Kapoor whom I consider one of the most handsome hero to have ever dawn on Hindi film cinema along him was Sharmila Tagore sultry and all that style and persona along with all that goes with being Bohemian.Classic song. The singers Asha well can anyone be blessed with that spectrum off voice.Rafi his disciplined almost ruled the 60s all by himself when Raj Kapoor-Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand were all over the place churning out magnum opus and drama.Shammi starred in what were the criminal murder mystery thrillers along with the side kick Rajendernath. The songs which he appeared in are being still remixed till date. The great Pancham signing tunes of his geniuses.

Blog: Sexy eyes
Ooh Ooh aahaa sexy eyes ... :))
It is all in eyes right? Well eyes are our windows to the world. Love at first sight? Well when cupid would struck me, I guess I was busy sleeping. I am in love with my sleep, everyone is, at least I am. Don't go off to sleep this is nothing to do with sleep it is about eyes.
I for eyes.
If I ever wanted anything in my lady it had to be eyes. Lovely eyes, there is a standard pj on this ,just in this public interest ....
Dil karta hai teri jheel se neeli aankhon mein kud jaaun ...
Dil karta hai teri jheel se neeli aankhon mein kud jaaun ...
Chaapaak ...
You need to be a good one for cracking those, if u don't then don't blame anyone; anywhere...
There is a definite allure of eyes that strikes a chord, in my case beats the drum. The Valentines Day just went by, It came and it went, people can say a hell lot of things both pros and cons but I just think If anyone can lease out sometime, just over a cup of coffee, my case a Swiss Miss then too it means a lot.
Eyes and playlists.
Well the topic remains eyes/sight, the following are random songs lyrics of which are centered around eyes they are not in a particular order, I think at this point on time I don't even have a list, I may chalk out a few and edit some off them in the due course of time.
Jaadu teri nazaar ( kkkkk Darrrr, Udit)
Aankhen bhi hoti hain (Haasil, Abhijit)
Teri aankhon ke siva duniya ( Find out the movie, Rafi)
Naina lad jiye hain ..toh manva khaatak (Ganga Jamuna, Rafi)
Jaahaan teeri yeh nazaar hai (Kalia, Kishore)
edit will be placed soon : )
Sexy is the weather.
Well for last fortnight the place where I dwell looked likt this around the dawn times of the day,Gd has blessed Surat with really awesome weather, I have stayed in place where the summers were way too hot, night temperatures of 44, anyways I don't wish to think of days those days, this use to happen every day last fortnight or so and it was awesome. I enjoyed some great mornings.

So the story goes on ...
I have missed my blogs so much. I just don't wish to update from office, people snooping by .... I dont know whats it is like to work in a cubicle but I dont work out from a cubicle. I hate people asking me questions, why what and ... list iis long, but I manage to keep a Rediff window on, I love the articles of Rediff sometimes cricket updates and sometime stock market along with nice articles as well, Rediff is a great web site.
I read this on the news articles and I chuckled. The second time I am reading it now I cant help rolling off of laughter. I mean read this one, isn't it obvious, so next time u switch over the ACs just think a little. :)
Do these guys had to carry out a study for this, isn't it obvious, man your AC take off heat of your room and throws it out ever second and if a million ACs in a city do it for thousands of hours won't the temperatures rise? Energy cannot be created nor ...
Thermos Dynamos ...
I loved thermodynamics, never mind the fact that I did not manged to score well in Thermodynamics, but I love the subject and its awesome universal appeal. Thermo, Economics and geometry, any given day any given times, and any amounts. There is a regret tho, one part of subject, Heat transfer is something I think loathe and never got hang of it. If u do sned me some "Notes".
I had figured out Geometry early in life. The lines, planes, triangles. The median to the hypotenuse is half the hypotenuse. I enjoy it till date, not so much algebra and things like those.
Thermo remains a magnetic attraction and economy well ... not had much of it, but then, you can't ever ignore it, can you?
Jai Shiv Shambhu.
It is Maha Shiv ratri, a pious day, something spooky of it, they say it rains every Maha Shivratri, I hope it does, I love the rains and the fresh smell of the earth.
Cricket post coming up soon, I missed them and U know what I have reasons to believe people actually read them. :))
A tag.
I was tagged by Nancy for the five things you don't know about me.
I am right hander.
I want to be punctual for everything I do. (If I do it )
I love eggs.
I love comedy.
I am a realist and practical.
Mood: Jovial.
Soundtrack: Aankhen bhi hoti hain ...

Blog: Rain and Songs
I had to blog today I did not guess I would have time to do so but some how with three quarters of an hour to go after some phone calls and some odd running around, I have managed to take time off and sit out to Blog.
Murphy's Law/Murphies Laws, or call it what you want.
Someone I don't remember said that life is nothing but witnessing bizzare events. I managed to get up early today, thats not a coincidence though, the cell phone memory seem to running brim, I thought why not ease it off some numbers which I don't use "regularly" I though why not delte them. I did de;ete them and then out of the one and a half dozen numbers that i deleted, three people called me. I was dumb founded. I think next time I delete someone's number I will call him fist and declare to him that You are erased.
The weather here.
The weather seems to be on a roller coaster a loud gurgling and downpour woke me up at around 4 in the morning. I soon realized I had couple of more hours to do what I do loving most, sleep. I manged to sleep till 7:30 and then it was all the way to getting ready and being just on time. The day was awesome here bright sunshine for couple of days during the day. This bright sunshine cast dark clouds of doubt in my mind about what will about to unfold. I had a heafty lunch and then resume some documentation which was pending. I dragged myself to the site. I have a "site" job. I for some reason am very proud not to be in IT field, no offence to the techies though I think they are doing a great job in everything they are doing.
I felt thje wind picking up and it was becoming very breezy. One could see clear blue skies but withing 15 minutes there was darkness all round. The absence of camera in my hand made me curse myself again. I for one did not have much choice though. The cloud looked really good, shiny dark grey-black back ground. The wind meanwhile started to howl, me and my friend picked up the sigh and headed to canteen enroute to office had some biscuits as dinner is still far far away. I entered office and I hard the clatter of rain. i had a smile on my face as I was not wet in the cold AC.
The reason of smile was actually finding time to blog.
The list of Songs now.
I never had the snese of music. I adore people who play an sort of instrument, paint, sing, dance or whatever. I have a strong belief that one has it in you and these things cannot be learnt. I wish I could play the song by Jagjit Singh which goes as "तेरे होटो को सालाम, जीन को छु जाने को तरसे कई सागर कई जाम..." then a few more sungs were being played in my mind some of Pankaj Udhas song "चान्धी जैसा रान्ग है तेरा ..."
As the rain started I wanted to sing the Bryan Adams of a song "Lets make a night to remember from January to December"
Last but not the least.
This one is for people who don't have Blog Alias. What would your Alias be for the Blog-O- Sphere, a name by which you wish to be know?
I think I would like to rename "myself" as The Light-House .You meanwhile give it a wild thought and write in the name which you would be known as in the Blog-O- Sphere.

About : Eternal Songs.
There are some Hindi songs which I can hear till eternity. I feel there is something very soothing about these songs. They tend to convey many emotions all in one musical note. I am fond of radio, Surat does not have much of private radio service *sob sob* and this place has potential to make it into a commercial success. Whenever I get a chance to go to Mumbai I make sure that I hear atleast to four hours of radio, by the way irrespective of whats the time the radio set is practically on. The 24 hours service is a great help and I truly believe the private radio in Mumbai make living in a city a bit easier.
The following list of songs is as follows,
Raat ke hamsafar: sung by Asha and Rafi for the movie An Evening in Paris starring Sharmila and Shammi.
Main zindagi ka saath: sung by Rafi for the movie Hum Dono starring Dev Anand.
Ajeeb dastan hai yeh: sung by Lata* movie (fill in the blanks) featuring Meena Kumari and Rajkumar.
Saagar jaisi aankhowali: sung by Kishore for the movie Saagar starring Dimple, Rishi, Kamaal Hassan
Mere meheboob qayamat: sung by Kishore for himself in Mr. X in Bombay.
Ek ladki bheegi: sung by Kishore for Chalti ka Naam Gaadi featuring Himself and Madhubaala.
Aayega Aanewala: sung by Lata for the movie Mahal. Ashok Kumar was the “hero” of the movie.
Aasmaan ke neeche: sung by Lata and Kishore for Jewel Thief starring Dev Anand and Vyjanthimala.
Dard-e-dil: sung by Rafi for the movie Karz starring Rishi Kapoor.
Jab koi baat: sung by Kumar Sanu and Sadhna Sargam for the movie Jurm featuring Vinod Khanna and Meenakshi Sheshadri.
Ae dil-e nadan: sung by Lata for the the movie Razia Sultana starring Dharmendra and Hema.
Then there are a few ghazals sung by Asha, Jagjit Singh and Pankaj Udhas which I would love to hear very late into the night.
*Correted to Lata as mentioned by Sakshi on this blog's comments

Blog: Gaata Rahe Mera Dil
Kishore Kumar. His songs were the one you probably sang first when you started babbling. His songs were the first tunes on which you learnt to grind. Like old wine his charm continues till date and will probably only grow from here. The old tunes which he lent his voice never seem to be never out of odds with the present.
It would have been his 76 birth anniversary. But he is still alive.
His song voice conveyed the poets thoughts, the directions story, the heroes oomph, and would been eager to fall on a responsive ear. The magic continues to make people sway.
He carried the torch of playback singing to new heights.
He is also a man who signifies that life is perhaps a big irony. Irony is without exception got you the best and perhaps the worst on view. He was destined never to sing. It’s on record that he had an awful throat. He had problems talking leave alone singing. But today without doubt he was perhaps the best on which today’s singers try to emulate (emulating is not copying).
No artist has one facet only. This artist had many amazing facets. The record book says director, producer, editor, music director, lyricist, singer, poster designer etc. He did it all for Door Gagan Ki Chaon Mein. A comedian, who would just inject laughter into thinking souls. A singer who would bring tears rolling down your cheeks if you just heard him.
He along with Rajesh Khanna first and then Amitabh Bachchan bought a fortune for people intricately connected to Hindi film playback singing. He had an amazing voice which resonates in the mind. It takes you on a path where a man is compelled to think about his being.
There are a wide variety of songs which you could choose if u wish to hear a Kishore Kumar. You also have an option of hearing him remixed or remake. I prefer old ways. I am conservative I agree. It’s the simplest of thoughts which are most difficult to convey and understand. There are no ways but to simply say that he would tune the listeners to his songs no matter what he sang.
There are some of my favourite original solo tracks of Kishore Kumar.
Mere Meheboob Qayamat Hogi (Mr X in Mumbai).
Mana Janab Ne Pukara Nahi (Paying Guest)
Mere Saamnewali Khidki (Padosan)
Geet Gaata Hoon Main (Lal Patthar)
Woh Shaam Kuch Ajeeb Thi
Khaike Paan Banareswala (Don)
Meri Umaar Ke Nau Javano (Karz)
Om Shanti Om (Karz)
Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai (Mr.India)
Mere Sapno Ki Rani (Aradhna)
The list is endless. Rock or classical you need to have his collection no matter what your taste in Music.
